At the “International Skiarea Test,” Kreischberg was delighted to receive the following awards: the “International Slope Quality Seal in Quadruple Gold,” “Fun & Action in Double Gold,” “Best Slope Team,” the “Snowmaking Trophy in Double Gold,” the “Slope Rescue and Safety Trophy,” and finally, the especially prestigious distinction “Adventure & Family Mountain in Double Gold”!
In addition, “Skiresort.de” – the world’s largest ski area testing portal – named Kreischberg the 2025 test winner in the category “Extra Class: World’s Leading Ski Area up to 60 km of Slopes.”

Milestones of a Success Story
In 1975 the Kreischberg ski area was born. What began with two chairlifts and a lot of entrepreneurial vision has developed over time into one of the largest and most modern ski areas in Styria.
Anna Gasser & Kreischberg
Kreischberg is Anna Gasser’s “home away from home”. Since the 2017/18 winter season, the giant landing airbag on Kreischberg has been a unique training opportunity for freestylers in Europe. The two-time Austrian “Sportswoman of the Year” spends many training days here every season. Anna won gold twice at the Olympic Games in South Korea and Beijing, and in Bakuriani she was crowned World Champion 2023 in Big Air. We are delighted for her amazing success!

The Snowpark Kreischberg has a single goal, namely to create ideal conditions for snowboarders and freeskiers who are keen freestylers or want to become one. The park is located right next to the Sunshine lifts and the Kreischi T-bar lift at 1,900 m above sea level.

Leider müssen wir allen Interessenten an einem Zweiersessel vom alten Rosenkranzlift mitteilen, dass wir ausverkauft sind!
From now on, Kreischberg, in cooperation with E-Mobilitätszentrum 4u GmbH, offers convenient charging facilities for electric vehicles. Six charging stations with a total of 12 charging points have been installed east of the valley station. Charging is quick and easy via direct payment by credit card or with all major EV charging cards.
Die Seilbahnkomponenten werden am Berg zwischengelagert um für den Einbau dann schneller vor Ort zu sein.
Die ersten Bauteile der neuen Seilbahntechnik wurden bereits von der Firma Leitner angeliefert. Bis zum Weitertransport werden die Komponenten auf unserem Parkplatz zwischengelagert. Von dort aus erfolgt der Transport zur Baustelle am Berg, wo sie im Zuge der Bauarbeiten montiert werden.
Am Kreischberg ersetzt im kommenden Winter eine moderne 8er-Sesselbahn den alten 2er-Sessellift am Rosenkranz. Für Kreischberg Fans und Nostalgiker ergibt sich nun die einmalige Gelegenheit, einen 2er-Sessel als Erinnerungsstück oder für private Zwecke zu erwerben. Der Verkauf der Sessel erfolgt für „Selbstabholer“ zu folgenden Terminen: Donnerstag, 6. bis Samstag, 8. August Donnerstag, 13. und Freitag, 14. Gestern erfolgte gemeinsam mit Grundbesitzern, Baufirmen und Ehrengästen der offizielle Spatenstich für unser Projekt „8er-Sesselbahn Rosenkranz“. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf die Eröffnung im Dezember 2026!
Die Bauverhandlung ist erfolgreich über die Bühne gegangen, die Verhandlungsleiterin Mag. Agnes Rothensteiner von der Seilbahnbehörde hat den positiven Bescheid verkündet und somit „grünes Licht“ für unser großes Projekt gegeben.
